Well guys, I got an A+ in book arts and an A- in printmaking. Eh, it’s to be expected.
Tonight I have a 12:04 AM train to Rome, thus beginning my official vacation. Two full days in Rome, then I think Florence for a day, then an overnight train to Munich, where I have 3 nights booked. Then I will head to Amsterdam where I will meet up with Erica at 8 AM at the airport on the 1st, and then stay there for 3 nights after that. I will by then be able to wear a real shoe on my foot. Yay. After that, things are still unconfirmed, but I’ll be going to Interlaken, Switzerland, I just haven’t decided for how long. Then, all I know is I just booked a ticked to Aida at the Verona Opera for the 9th, and I will be coming back to Venice to go to Burano and Murano since I never REALLY made it there. And I have a hostel in Milan for the 10th before my flight home on the 11th.
So that’s what I know for sure about the next 2 and a half weeks. I’m sure I’ll be online every few days or so to update you all, but I’m sure my family will appreciate knowing my approximate vicinity. Have a great couple weeks, everyone, and I will see you soon!
P.S. Tom… did you really get that adapter to work ever? I can’t get it to… I’ve just been using other people’s for the past 5 weeks… so if you have insight, let me know, otherwise I can’t charge my battery to take pictures…
Alright, I’m headed back to go pack and then to the Accademia Gallery and then to someone’s house for a goodby snack, and then to the train (I got a bed car this time). So long. And goodbye Scuola Internazionale di Grafica and Venice.
